“High Tide” is the newest EP from experimental downtempo producer Gloom (Britt Thomas Brady), out now as the sophomore release from Tipping Hand Recordings. With a focus on miniature percussion and continuously unfolding synthesis, the auditor is easily whisked away into the roomy soundscape of each song. Mixed emotions are in ample supply throughout the four tracks, as melancholy morphs from hope to alienation and back again at the drop of a hat. Due to it’s succinct nature, the album leaves the listener wanting more; a desire to once again board the moonlit oceanic boat ride across the High Tide.
